beyond taking the medication, walking 12 blocks to the dentist. I don't remember walking along "The Drag" next to UT which is the last 7 blocks.

One tooth had a cavity, another tooth was coming in at a bad angle, a third tooth never erupted above the gum line so it was necessary to cut it out, while the fourth wisdom tooth never arrived. I guess thar there is some latent wisdom to be bestowed upon me.

Or maybe you just lost your "wisdom" like the guy in the video...

And my dentist told me that I have a wisdom tooth that has yet to appear...

My Mom so underestimated (or at least told me so) the impacts she bribed me with a shopping trip immediately thereafter. Of course 7 days of Demerol haze later and a loss of probably 15+ pounds, I "came to." Fortunately, that was under the treatment of an oral surgeon and not a far less trained & equipped dentist. But, damn. I'm glad I had it done as my teeth were proportionately far too large for my smallish mouth (yes, really). But, wow.

And if they lost all that bone and had all those complications in the video, I REALLY have to wonder what an incompetent performed the procedure. Not buying the premise for a moment, beyond the fact that some people DO have complications. Chose your oral surgeon wisely for this procedure.

The difficulties, which included the drill overheating. I was in there for about 2 1/2 hours. I missed close to 3 weeks of school, my junior year of high school. There was a week or so that I looked like a squirrel or a chipmunk, my face was so swollen and I was all yellow and green bruises.
