Dr. John Gartner: White House covering up Trump's dementia--he should be removed via 25th Amendment - Dean Obeidallah

Dr. John Gartner of Duty To Warn explained to SiriusXM radio's Dean Obeidallah that the White House is in full cover up mode of Trump's dementia.

He noted that polls show that 60% of Americans now see Trump's cognitive slide yet the White House is hiding the fact Trump is unable to discharge his duties and should be removed via the 25th Amendment. - 03/30/2026.

Gee, who voted for this shit?!? I feel so safe and secure when I go to sleep at night.

That is why I included "No Crazies" in my protest sign (No Kings, No Clowns, No Fascists, No Crazies).

3. After reading DU at night, I tend to feel the same. Who in their right mind would even consider voting for a felon??

I tend to watch old shows on latenight TV to wind down before I can sleep, Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore are on late here. And I think about what I said to my old summer camp friends at our last reunion before the pandemic. I said that I'd sooner vote for the next person who drove by rather than this monster and they agreed with me. And he turned out to be bad enough in his first term, who in their right mind would give him a second chance after that??

lack of a memory. This happens ALL THE TIME and it is extremely frustrating. Social media has made it 100% worse. The GOP ALWAYS screws up the country in any way possible to further their agenda (legal or not) and then Dems are elected to clean up their mess and the cycle repeats itself. It's been like this since Raygun. "Nothing changes, everything stays the same".

I've been re-watching the PBS series "The Roosevelt's" and this BS was going on back then but to a much lesser degree.

*** I also like to relax with old TV shows that I've seen often but are still funny and true gems. I watch the old Mary Tyler Moore Show, Bob Newhart, and Dick Van Dyke too. The MTM show and Bob Newhart are available to watch for free on YouTube and Dick Van Dyke is on MeTV Sunday Nights. Thank goodness!

I like old Murphy Brown reruns a lot too. It shows how nothing has changed with our govt since 1987. So sad!

6. I know exactly what you mean, it's an endless cycle

A Republican administration causes havoc, the people get frustrated and elect a Democrat the next time around. But the people forget since time has gone by and elect yet another Republican and the cycle continues. They need to start teaching Civics again in our public schools - after we finally elect another Democrat, restore the Dept. of Education (thanks to President Carter) and remove the 10 Commandments from the walls. But the clean up job has never been so insurmountable, and I'm guessing that this time it'll take more than a couple of generations to restore our Democratic Republic to rights as our Founders intended.

And I also like The Bob Newhart Show and I've started watching Adam-12 as well (my brother's favorite show) since, with rare exceptions, they nab the criminals. Those are the shows available in my area overnight, but I do prefer the comedies...

after that ass won the FIRST time.

He said (very chipper) "Well...Trump WON, didn't he?" (big smile on his face. ) I looked at him stricken and wondered why he seemed so damn happy ( he was only 12.)

"He's a MONSTER!", I told him.

(I'm sure this time around he's in total agreement with me.)

And you have plenty of time to educate him as to what's really going on now that he can vote. And it's good he has you, when I was first voting, I used to decide based on the League of Women Voters pamphlets that my mother brought home. It took 9/11, which scared me witless, to wake me up...

who influenced him. I love my son-in-law but we steer clear of politics.

Grandson is in college now and I'm sure he's been enlightened.

10. More than ever, politics now is completely dividing families

Most of my friends and the two cousins I'm close to feel the same way that I do. Even my dentist (where I was on 9/11!) does. But you never know. I was once walking out of a meeting with a girl who I knew had held a meetup for the Democratic challenger to our unfortunate congresswoman - Stefanik! And the two women behind us who heard our conversation started talking to each other - saying that all they watched was Fox "News!" I'd always liked them both but that really changed my opinion...

whose ideas you are DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED TO when politics comes up.

Honesty, within the family I also have a sister and a brother-in-law who are polar opposites from me.

I'll never change their minds.............. HISTORY will do that FOR them, albeit quietly.

But my brother is an agoraphobic, he rarely leaves the house, so I often bring him groceries, etc. and I've learned not to ask. I know it would upset me too much. And I only have one brother, strange as he is.
