Ya can’t find ANTIFA in the phone book but you can find Any Republican ya wanna chat with. Every Republican in this country is responsible for Noem and Hegseth and Johnson and thune and the List goes on. Oh yeah trump. But do not give any (R) a pass because “I was just doing what trump wanted me to do.” The GOP and all its member and those who voted for them are domestic enemies of our Constitution. I do not deal in hyperbole.

She was expressing her genuine self---telling the world Who. She. Is.

IMO. I cannot help but think she really IS this wretched soulless monster.

A) if you are a republican, and ever utter the words “thank you for your service”, FuckYou.

2) As a 20 year, retired military veteran, if you are a magat, Fuck You.

Fuck these motherfucking fucks

Military veterans, my wife and I both retired from the Air Force and no longer move in those circles, we both had careers after we retired. There’s a boatload of vets in AZ, you can tell because they all sport the veteran license plate and stickers and ball caps proclaiming their service. Most probably spent 2-4 years and got out. Most are older than us (60s) and still want someone to thank them for their service. I cringe when I am thanked.
I don’t feel that my service defined me, it refined me. I grew up learning manners and to follow the golden rule. The military showed me that WE, Americans, are supposed to take care of each other not just go around breaking shit and killing people.
When I got stationed here as my last assignment, I thought that at least McCain supported the military. I was wrong, he supported defense contractors. He was asked about that and said to the effect that he supported military members by making sure they had the best equipment in the world. I lost any respect I may have had for him right there.
As for what I would say, probably nothing, just shake my head and walk the other way: you can’t fix stupidity and trying to reach inside 40 years of hate radio and faux newz and talk sense into the folks who constantly vote against their own best interest is too taxing.

Sorry for the long screed, cheers

My wife’s father was an American serviceman stationed in Scotland at the time he met my mother in law and my wife grew up in Scotland until 12 or so then they moved back to the states, he had separated long before that.

I think for both of us, her in ‘79, me in ‘82 it was a way to get out of where we were and see more of the world. I did have relatives in different services, but that didn’t influence me at all. I joined because I wanted a gig where I got paid every two weeks and would get to see places I wouldn’t otherwise be able to, and it didn’t seem too difficult.

My service was different from hers, we didn’t meet until our careers were about half over, mine was almost Forest Gumpish in the places and times I was around and things happening at the same place and time… it was weird looking back at it…
