The other is Nicolás Maduro.

(no statesman himself - but we're supposed to be "the shining city on a hill" )

Trump no doubt believes this will win him back support from Cuban-Americans - who, as they clearly showed Tuesday night in Miami, are now well aware that Trump is throwing them under the bus bigly in order to please his far-right white Trumpkin base.

People who, in general, couldn't find Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina - or, for that matter, the United States - on a map even if you paid them.

But he knows that if it has a Spanish-sounding name attached to it, they expect their Orange Deity to terrorize and/or kill it.

(unless it's really good at kissing orange butt, like Argentina's Milei - who, btw, shares a lawyer with the country's top convicted narco)

He said that was what the Founding Fathers recognized. And who among us doesn't come from immigrants, grandparents, great grandparents or those who emigrated well before we were a country?? Actually, I come from all three.

But you know Republicans:

Most of them staunchly believe that if you're not of predominantly Northern European descent, you're just not a "real " American.

Hell - they don't see Native Americans as real Americans.
