U.S.-Backed Ceasefire Is Cover for Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza & West Bank

Israel has announced it will reopen the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt in the next few days as part of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire. However, the border will only open in one direction: for Palestinians to exit. Israeli American human rights lawyer Sari Bashi says the move validates fears that Israel's goal is to "continue the ethnic cleansing of Gaza."

All they needed was a provocation to get the ball rolling, which they got. Since then it's been easy to see that the total destruction of Gaza with the result of the purge of all Palestinians from Gaza was the plan from the start.
The "ceasefire" is not a real thing. Hundreds of Palestinians have died, and many structures have been damaged or destroyed by Israeli attacks since 10/10 .

The death and destruction continues, albeit at a lower level, since the ceasefire was agreed to. Essentially, Israel is breaking the ceasefire daily. The latest actions by Israel just underscore their actual intent.

Oh no, Israel would never DO such a thing!! It's the only democracy in the Middle East! Look at LGBTQ rights in Israel! Blah blah blah...

I was even told if I went to Gaza I'd be raped, and even that they hoped I would go... Yup, right here on DU, I won't forget. Such animosity just for daring to object to Israel's savage mass murder of children and civilians and stating that it was all part of an ethnic cleansing plan from the beginning.

Ugh. Nope, I and others like me will not forget. Palestinians sure as hell won't.
