I got the Influenza A virus last friday. It started with a bad cough, turned into the flu bug big time by Saturday. By Sunday it hit my like a brick wall. I had to make an emergency call to my PCP on call service. A NP called back within minutes. They told me to get/take a covid/flu a/flu b test. I didn't know they could test for all 3 at one time. Within one minute of testing, flu a was bright red line and it never went away. I called the NP back, and they subscribed Prednisone and TamiFlu (anti viral). Today is Tuesday and I'm all but over my issues, and temp is back to normal. I'm about 90% there, hoping to be 100% by tomorrow. Each day, after a fairly good nights sleep, I have definitely improved.

I could have gone to UC, but this method was much better, and I never left my house other than to go get the drugs.

Don't mess around with this virus if you have symptoms. The sooner it is addressed, the faster it goes away.

I have no idea where it came from.

He spent a long time in the hospital, but his organs were damaged beyond repair and he died about a year after. RIP, Miguel.
