because the Republicans put party before country and chose an authoritarian Strong Leader who was not committed to democracy to head their party, because the supreme court threw the constitution and settled law under the bus in order to serve authoritarian interests, because Republicans in the House and Senate put their own careers ahead of democracy, and because corporate and church leaders value their own interests above democracy. All of these leaders have failed democracy.

We ask 18 year olds who never had more than a thousand dollars to fight and die in service to this country. We need military leaders to step up and fight for democracy in Washington DC.
