She certainly isn't the only one. I have 2 great grands and a grand in school. Its terrifying.

My cousin's elder daughter has an ongoing issue with anxiety after all the school shooting drills

I was in high school when a catholic school in Chicago had a fire. Kids died. I remember how i was very jumpy whenever

Just goes to show that these childhood traumas stay with you for the rest of your life

She's in Colorado and is afraid to be alone. I'm not sure that I'd feel any differently.

There where strange sounds in school. That was in about 1960. I was no where near the school. I remember. All these years.
Those kids ... That 10 year old. Talking so clearly about the horror. The news gal next to him .. Her face just mirrored the emotion.

And these kids certainly don't deserve it. I remember when my cousin told me that her good friend got a deal on a house because it was across the street from Columbine. How long is this going to go on?? *sigh*
