Republicans aim to model U.S. after Hungary's 'fake democracy' - Velshi - MSNBC

Hungary’s current political system is “a kind of fake democracy,” says historian Anne Applebaum. “There's the appearance of democracy, but behind it, the systems are very hollow.” Trump’s allies have said they aim to model the U.S. in Hungary’s image, creating a political system within which they can never lose. People who suffer the most are Hungarians,” says Applebaum. - Aired on 05/31/2025.

They can’t DO anything. They are losers, both know it, so they strive to ensure they won’t lose. Through nefarious methodologies. But don’t ask them to DO anything. They would not survive in a legitimate free market environment involving any trade craft. They are evil which doesn’t require a working knowledge of doing anything.

most of us already knew this was what was happening before the last campaign season. It was so obvious, especially with CPAC going over there and praising the crap out of Orban, and hosting him here, to boot. That's one of the reasons I've said for a long time that we should be deporting all the magas... rich and poor... to either Russia or Hungary. We heard a phrase our entire lifetime coming from these same types of people -- America! Love it or leave it. That should be turned around on trump and his entire maga cult. America -- love democracy or leave it, and then follow that up with "deportation" letters giving them the option to which country they'd like to live.
