Van/car/rv dwelling

is it an economical option and does anyone have experience?

The microhouse/rv/van dwelling community always tempted me but seems not much cheaper

opinions?

but it was cheaper than renting a house there for 3 weeks.
However, I had a friend who lived in a mobile home, she thought it was fine, it was warmer than where I live, so they did not deal with snow as much.

in Colorado until I was able to find a room to rent but the town I was in is much more homeless friendly than where I reside now (TX). I lived there for a year before I had to come back here though I really, really didn't want to come back. If I still had a car (I had to let it go due to gas going up to $4/gallon at the time and I had really good access to public transportation at the time) I'd go back to CO and live in my car again while finding housing in a heartbeat.
