dock listened to the oft off key x-seaman and their shanties, followed by Oscar Brand and his frequently blue version of the songs.

I had a tape in my tape deck and remember driving my nephews to the beach and back and we were all singing on top of our lungs ( my car did not have air conditioning, so the windows were always open in the summer, what a treat we must have been on the parkway.
