Advertising, politics, spin, & distraction: with examples, background, philosophy, and comments from Chomsky, Zinn, Parenti, and more.

Very well done and timely.

To paraphrase: As Americans, we think of ourselves as tough individuals, not easily misled, so when obvious ads come on, we view with a bit of skepticism and distrust - we need to understand that the news and programs are often equally as crafted for emotional responses and bias.
