...like me but I think if we stray too deeply we should cool down as we approach 5 and if we fail at that, we can always beg for forgiveness or just wait 90 days if we're at 4.

I would imagine Star members are more readily forgiven than others.

In these times of managing electronic assaults from the outside world, there are probably more exigent demands on programming.

and get 2 or 3 removes in that thread. In the latter case, one can have 2 removes and feel safe, and then get 3 removes in one regrettable thread and suddenly one is FFR. Maybe the algorithm can count a max of one remove in a thread.

I've never had more than 2 removes at a time, but then I don't post all that much (actually my current 320 posts in 90 days is well above my average). Anyway, I always keep in mind that after a couple removes, one bad day, even one bad thread, can take me the rest of the way to an FFR.

FWIW if one feels that gotten an unfair hide, they can appeal it.

for what would be little practical gain. The six hide concession could be limited to Star members who make monthly donations.
