Anyone else suddenly seeing ads on DU?

I'm logged in and a star member. Just started seeing ads. This has never happened before.

I think DU sent a message yesterday they are doing some updates and maintenance over the next day. Maybe it has something to do with that.

We took a lightning strike Thursday night. It came in on the ethernet and fried a good deal of electronics in the house. I'm running on a very minimally configured system - just enough to get by and connect to work. Haven't put in any personal stuff really EXCEPT my DU bookmark. I didn't do any browser add ins (like ad blockers, etc.) since I'm going to have to reconfigure the systems all over again when it gets fixed or replaced.

virus program says is a 'threat' through ads.

Logged in, star member, I am suddenly seeing ads everywhere...my current membership expires in Feb 2021, so Iï¿½m not sure what the issue is....and that apostrophe mess is happening when I try to type I ï¿½ (apostrophe) m
