My time stamps on DU are way off.

How do I fix that?

ETA --- computer time and date are correct. On DU posts, this one is stamped after 10pm.

ETA2 -- found the necessary adjustment under "My Account". All better, now.

That's where I found it. Can't imagine why it had me set at Greenwich Mean Time!
