You can't load up a bike with a week's worth of food for a family of four.

And how do the elderly get around? I'm disabled, can't drive, walk, or ride a bike. I get rides in a public van, to get groceries.

This is all very well and good for able-bodied people who eat fast food from konbini all the time. But for people who buy real groceries...wow, that's a lot of obstacles to overcome.
