Yesterday

for possible polar vortex outbreaks this winter due to the weakening of the polar jet stream. And there is also an unusual possible Antarctic polar vortex collapse happening which has been linked to northern hemisphere polar vortex outbreaks in the past.

Atlantic gyre has been expanding and now thwarts quite a few of the hurricanes from forming near the continent.
