(3,576 posts)The thought that occurred to me then, as it does viewing these videos, is that there is something bizarrely sexual about it. I'm sure our ancient ancestors looked at that and thought: "As above, so below."

(4,732 posts)The gyrating, wind cloud chimney, The fringe y looking, cloud whirling upward over the first one, and the guy in the field hanging onto the fence as he films it all. So glad he was able to get back to the car, and leave. I hope.

(833 posts)When I was a boy in the 50s we were fed a bunch of fake folklore made up to glamorize American History and traditional work, such as John Henry, Paul Bunyan, Casey Jones, Joe Magarac, and Pecos Bill, the "super cowboy"who rode a tornado and made it rain on a drought stricken part of the southwest.
