You take a raw egg in its shell and balance it on its base at exactly the time of the equinox.
And it stands there for about a minute. Then it starts to wobble and lays back down on its side.

(55,362 posts)either the estimate time (5:01-5:02) was inaccurate or the magnetic pull just wasn't there.
It's worked before.
Oh well. See you in six months.

If I missed it this year, I'll try it next year.
