Happy Easter!

Some churches broadcast online from an empty church (except for the clergy). Some have transmitters that allow people to meet in the parking lot, safe inside their cars, tuned in to a specific frequency on their car radios.

I will be going to a parking lot service this morning.

How will you spend Easter this year?

Will watch later. DH played trumpet on some hymns. Normally he would be gone already playing for a sunrise service with his brass quartet, followed by a regular service with them at a nearby Lutheran church.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
