Went to church 3 times yesterday as usual (only on Christmas Eve!)
3:00--helped serve Communion at my church. I enjoy going this and it makes the message of the holiday more meaningful.
7:00--my Irish folk ensemble (I play flute and tin whistle) played for the family service at our ex-church (we moved just far enough away that it wasn't practical to stay members there). The new pastor there outdid herself with an awesome sermon.
11:00--DH's brass ensemble played at the same church for the more formal "midnight" service. The whole thing was done after midnight.

5:00 children's service
midnight service
10:00 am Christmas

This year, I did altar guild for the midnight and Christmas day service. About 5 hours sleep in between. I will sleep tonight!
