I've had Another Find (short)
A few weeks ago I posted a story about finding my gardener's long-lost credit card in the compost pile by spearing it with my dandelion digger.
I've had another "find."
A couple weeks ago I noticed my eyebrow pencil was running out and I made a mental note to buy another one. The professional beauty supply place is in an area where it's hard to park. With the sun and the 90-degree temps, there was no way I wanted to go there. I thought of it numerous times but procrastinated.
Last night I was searching for something productive to do, since I'd largely wasted the day due to the heat. I decided I'd clean out a closet, so I went to the RGs closet and selected the first item on the right, which was one of those hanging caddies where you can store small items in the pockets. I pulled it out and saw the caddy looked brand new, never used, and thought "you should use this thing! It's really nice."
I opened the zipper on the first pocket and there was the eyebrow pencil I needed to go buy. Brand new, still in it's plastic packaging.
I have no idea how it got there, but I was happy I wouldn't have to make a trip to the dreaded beauty supply place.
