Oh my! The University of Montana Grizzlies

beat the Washington Huskies in their house! First victory over the Huskies in 100 years.

I’m proud to say that the Grizzlies #37 works part time in our shop in Missoula.

He had a pretty good career. Just not a household name. He played high school ball at Lewiston, ID about a decade after I did.

Our family has had season tickets for Grizzly football for decades…We sit two rows off the field on the home side of the stadium and I can absolutely remember my husband yelling “Jimmy Jimmy Jimmaaayyyy” in 1997-1998-ish when the Griz came out of the tunnel crossing the field to get fans riled up. Such great memories!

Wasn’t Jimmy a 49er? Yay.
