I have to admit, I like him.

(16,144 posts)Is why God invented the mute button.
Sorry.
He's not my favorite.
Morbius
(945 posts)He constantly makes it all about him.
And like most football announcers he talks too much.

(31,805 posts)As a Pats fan, I applaud what Tom did for NE football in his time here. He was amazingly consistent.
He's got the looks and smarts,,,,but he needs to stop nodding every time his broadcast partner starts talking. That's annoying.

(35,637 posts)Not a real fan, and I call him dimple boy ..but he DOES HAVE 7 Super Bowl Rings. At least hes got inside knowledge. Oh, and I do like him better then, ugh, Troy Aikman.

(2,848 posts)the best QB ever doesnt make him the best commentator. Things come way too easy for Brady and many HOF. Maybe he doesnt have to work as hard as the others?
Just my opinion that doesnt mean shit honestly.

(31,805 posts)Can he be a Tony Romo (my favorite commentator), I don't know....time will tell.

(2,848 posts)Not sure Tom really wants to be in the booth.
I think he wants a majority ownership in da Raiders.

(9,439 posts)I'd rather have my ears ripped off than have to listen to him. Hearing his voice makes me physically ill. And he's an asshole and horrible human being on top of being a pathetic announcer.
Oh, and Greg Olson & Tony Romo are terrible as well. At this point, I refuse to listen to any network football announcers. I listen to music while watching games.
Sogo
(7,085 posts)and his knowledge of the game is unsurpassed, IMO. I learn a lot listening to him.
