Phantom hummingbord???

I keep my feeders up late, I had a hummer show up on a chilly November day about five years ago so now I leave my feeders out late.

I haven't seen a hummer since October but something is feeding from the feeders. Maybe Woodpeckers?

One night I thought I saw a light colored blur fly up to a feeder and spend a few seconds before flying off.

When I was in Arizona I saw a moth that mimicked a hummingbird so well I took it for one until I got closer at about 4:00AM.

I'll keep filling them until they get enough, but I am curious about what I am feeding.

3. We do get finches (house finches) nesting, so maybe so! They are the bravest little birds and they are not afraid of me.
