They really flailed in the second half but seem to have gotten their shit together. Fingers crossed!

After that epic collapse, can they put things together enough to win a short series? We'll know within a week.

The Reds are hot but I will not pick against the Dodgers at this time of year. I am nervous about the Cubs but as I posted elsewhere, there's reason to hope. The Yankees are experienced and loaded, and Detroit looks really shaky right now. The second round is much harder to predict.

because it's an odd-numbered year. And here we are with MLB-TV.

I can't figure for the life of me why the cable monoliths don't offer a postseason deal.

It’s back to audio on mlb.tv for me, and day-old tv highlights, since I don’t get any of the cable channels.
Why mlb.tv can’t offer a premium package with ALL games is beyond me. Disappointing!

We're Dodgers fans, but live in the San Francisco cable coverage area (Santa Cruz). We have a Roku tee vee and an outdoor yagi antenna about 25 feet up with a rotor and a signal amplfier,
So we get a bunch of local and streaming channels, including network affiliates, all for our monthly internet cost. But Big Cable has the sports scene all sewed up, and I'd bet they're slipping a few bucks to Congresscritters for the privilege.
