Kevin Durant passes Michael Jordan for 5th place on all-time NBA scoring list. How much farther can K.D. go?

Durant reached 32,294 points last night, putting him two points ahead of Michael Jordan on the NBA's career scoring list.

He had already eclipsed Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and Dirk Nowitzki (31,560) this season.

"Four more to go," he said with a smile.

Durant is 37 years old. Here's who's left ahead of him. How much farther can he climb? Good luck catching LeBron!

LeBron James* 43,241
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 38,387
Karl Malone 36,928
Kobe Bryant 33,643

By the way, Durant has played 1,190 career games. Jordan played 1.072, so he had a higher point-per-game average. Jordan was also part of 6 championship Bulls teams. Durant has been on two.
