sightless advancing to danger tasting of fear set in the heart
unaware of dire death following the fetid scent of human sin
alive within the skin of a stranger a target for the deadly dart
descending deeper into desolation inside every moment lost
seeking need search for desire souls abandoned by the road
reach a point of final concentration balancing gain and cost
to choose between bliss or fire a time for the flesh to corrode
now to bow before the fallen cross the ancient gods all dead
who will worship in the sallow squalor of the decaying crypt
submit to evil lures in appalling loss after the graces are fled
interred in graves dug shallow life dismembered and ripped
as rains continue to fall harder water seeps into the ground
filling each crevasse of armor whence dead heroes drowned
