The words of the weak
Convinced they are strong
Insisting on submission
To all their desires
In their fragile minds

“Never!” I shout from the rooftops
Screaming from deep in my chest
Torrents of rebellion pour forth
From my ripped-apart soul
“I will never give in!
Take my life, take my all
You can never steal my dignity
While I have my shallow breaths.”

To submit to evil
Is to burn alive
On the spit of the fiends
Who spin you slowly
In the flames
Turning you to charred remains

Do not give in to those twisted hearts
Those who have never suffered
Those who have never lost
But sit proudly, bathing in their gains
Like stuffed shirt proud peacocks
In their blatant self-righteousness
Convinced they know the way
To conquer evil…”Submit,” they say
