The "Hamas Whack-A-Mole was good, but I think the reason Israel is doing overkill is using ordinance that will collapse the tunnels that run under the buildings they're using those oversized bombs on. It's still hard to watch since a lot of people are still in those buildings, trapped by Hamas or a simple inability to get out due to age or infirmity.

but Hamas has always been a cheap n dirty outfit and the ones their fighters use are probably shallow, basement to basement affairs.

I'm fine with all the tunnels leading to the deep ones being collapsed, the leaders being stuck 100 feet underground with no light, bad air, and limited food and water.
