As he weighs joining Israels war against Iran, President Donald Trump reportedly finds himself at odds with his Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, with one White House official saying that he has just been kind of down on her in general of late.
The president was recently incensed, according to Politico, by Gabbards decision to post a three-minute video on X in the early hours of June 10 in which she warned that political elite and warmongers are carelessly fomenting fear and tensions between nuclear powers, placing the world on the brink of nuclear annihilation.
Trump is said to have been angered by the video, accusing Gabbard of going off-message and rebuking her for it in person.
One of the senior administration officials, quoted anonymously by Politico, said there is a growing perception within the West Wing that the former Hawaii Democratic congresswoman, who once ran for that partys presidential nomination, doesnt add anything to any conversation.

Tulsi Gabbard sidelined in Trump administration discussions on Israel and Iran
The MAGA rift over Iran is playing out within the administration, with Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, at odds with other top officials and the president himself.

WASHINGTON National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, an outspoken critic of past U.S. military interventions abroad, appears to have fallen out of favor with President Donald Trump as he weighs military action against Iran, according to multiple senior administration officials with knowledge of the matter.
Gabbard allies insist that, while there is some White House tension, some of the public blowback is overstated, and none interviewed by NBC News expect her to leave the administration as a result of the presidents Iran policy, even if that includes direct U.S. involvement.
Gabbards politically perilous position burst into the open this week when Trump brushed her back over her testimony to Congress in March. At that time, she said the U.S. intelligence community did not believe Iran was building a nuclear weapon a comment at odds with Trumps recent public statement about the threat posed by Irans potential nuclear program.
I dont care what she said. I think they were very close to having one, Trump told reporters Tuesday on Air Force One.
