With the Lindsey Graham news and tangentially South Carolina and Strom Thurmond..

Strom Thurmond always brings to mind NPR Paris correspondent Eleanor Beardsley

First because I have always loved her accent but second because she was a former staffer for Strom Thurmond.

I am always interested when Eleanor has reports on NPR and have wondered what she looks like. Like you, I love her accent, and I have felt that she really knows her subjects in Europe. Now I know why--she has extensive experience there. Now I can picture her when she comes on with news.
