Any fans of Time Team?

Yeah, I know - popular archaeology for the masses that is severley criticised by the more serious archaeologists. But still, hugely entertaining, engaging and fun.

So what if they dive into ancient sites with their diggers and cast of thousands; practically every square foot of Britain had an old building, Roman fort, henge or mound on it at one stage or another. Who cares if the archaelogical importance of their three day digs are blown out of all proportion. Among the hype there is a fair amount of really interesting information, some excellent experts to pass on opinions and the rustic charms of the redoubtable Mick and Phil.
