House Judiciary Committee voted for Nixon’s impeachment today 1974—as Nixon later recalled, he got the news in San Clemente, "standing in the beach trailer, barefoot, wearing old trousers, a Banlon shirt and a blue windbreaker emblazoned with the Presidential seal."
