I just read your previous post! I have never heard of this illness before and I am terrified by the severity of it. At least Sian is bigger and has more to fight it with. I am so sorry to hear about this!

On edit, I was just told flea anemia. Damned fleas are just vicious to young kittens and other small animals--but even adult dogs can die. Only behind mosquitoes and ticks--in the worldwide harm to people and animals.

She was such a fun and beautiful little girl.

I have followed your posts for years. My daughter was part of a cat rescue group and many litters camped out at our house before being placed in forever homes. Quite a few stayed on as members of our family. I am praying for you both and would contribute what I can to her medical care if finances are an issue.

Do you need financial help getting your vet's recommended flea treatment for your other cats?

I'm so glad you were there for her, to take care of her and comfort her. I know you were a blessing to her as she was to you.

I lost a kitten to flea anemia years ago. He’d gotten flea treatments but the damage was done. Vet said it changes their platelets and when it’s bad there’s nothing they can do. Prayers and hugs to you.

You tried so hard to save her from that. She knew it, too, that's why she stopped hiding and came to your lap.
