She wasn't a kitten when she showed up to join the 10 or so other ferals we were feeding. The others have long passed by either leaving or passing but she is still here. She is however nearing her end. She still eats but she has lost a lot of weight. Still cries to be pet whenever we are outside but we know it won't be long before she is gone. She is a Tuxedo and her once black face is now covered with white hairs. She has never been to the vet so we are surprised she has lasted this long. She is a fighter but we know and expect it to be soon for her time to end. She is such an everyday sight to see, it will be sad when we no longer hear her loud cries to be fed.

Tiger was one of 10 kittens that were trapped neutered and released in 2010. The others left long ago and he stayed with me. I sympathize with yours getting old

in loving memorial to Tiger. This baby looks like he needed a safe, loving space to rest and you went above and beyond. Bast bless and keep him in Her loving paws, and bless you for looking after Her wee ones... sweet peace to you, dear one.

It's always hard when one of them passes on. I've often said that pets are like children that never grow up. They're a part of the family, and we love each and every one of them.
The sadness will pass, but your memories will live on. Hold onto the memories. They'll become a source of happiness and joy over the years.

I'm glad he came inside at the end, he trusted you with making sure his ending was peaceful. You were his human and that bond is solid.

Sad with you
