Tiger survived the night and he drank some water and peed in the litter box, but he's very weak. I don't know how

How much longer he will last. I don’t know what to do.

Has he seen a vet? Do you have any idea what’s going on with him? It’s so hard not knowing how to help.

He’s never been to the vet, except when he was trapped, neutered, and released as a kitten.

Please call them back.

can suggest is that you tell him that you love him, and that it is okay for him to go. He is trying to hang on for your sake, so you need to give him permission to leave his body. I know this is so very hard for both of you. Holding you both in love and light, with vibes for best possible outcome.

When cats don't eat for a few days, they often develop fatty liver disease. This cannot be pleasant for him.

If there aren't any alternatives, please go through this with him. Be at his side just like you figuratively have been all these amazing sixteen years.

Please be proud of him, as that has to be some kind of record for a feral cat.

In my mind he is a Super Hero, he must have had special powers to survive that long, maybe taking the time to fill in his story with stories of imagined conquests, of secret romances, alliances against the big bad monsters hunting him, a true spie whose cover was never blown.

What a great cat!!

I wrote this in love and with tears that share your fears and pain Walleye.

God Speed Walleye, as sometimes that time slowing down that I wrote of this morning makes things more agonizing too.

We're with you my friend.

a friend go down and not be able to help. Just know that your presence comforts Tiger; tell him you love him and he will feel it in your voice.

We had a cat that died from it. We had set up an appointment for euthanasia, but it was about three days out. She deteriorated badly in those three days but was still alive when we got to the vet. She passed right as the injection was made. It was very peaceful due to how weak she was.

I still miss that cat. She lived a good life while she was with us.
