You can use GoodRx to get a discount on pet prescriptions.

I get my dog's prescriptions called in to the same pharmacy as my own. Today I asked about getting a list of his prescriptions for the year and found out that they have been giving me the goodRx discount all along. And yes, they know he's a dog. Its certainly worth it if you have an expensive prescription that your pet is on for the long haul.

For my dog’s heart meds. It’s about 1/3 of the price of my vet here in NYC. (It’s a Compounding pharmacy.)

but I'll get an Rx from her to send off to PetMeds dot com. I can usually find a coupon code using the Capital One browser extension. Right now, her only Rx is for heartworm and flea/tick control... I don't think that this is available at our local CVS, but if things change I'll compare prices with GoodRx.

I have been using goodrx for years for all of my fur baby scripts. Me vet set it up for me when Goldie had to start using insulin. And Bucky has to take gabapentin to keep him calm because of feral cats fussing at him thru our patio doors.
Plus you don't need a vet to prescribe just tell the pharmacist you would like to sign your baby up for the program

which meant that the meds were always late. They wouldn't even fill them at the vet any more. So I basically told them this is what I want. Most of his meds are human meds - the veterinary ones I still have to order.
