Related: About this forumShadow Monday actually began yesterday with this message to my inbox.
"Did Shadow get a side job?"
"I don't know if you've seen this or not, but tomorrow is Shadow Monday"
This came from alert DU member, Ed, who said "When I saw that display there was no doubt it had to be brought to your attention."
Thanks Ed! Shadow liked the picture. Though she wished she could ride around in a pickup and get paid for it.
Since last Shadow Monday, her "niece" Pepper spent the weekend. Pepper is six years younger than Shadow. Literally runs circles around her. But they play. Sort of.
At day's end two poopered pups in our living room.
Twelve days ago Shadow started in on a nice big soup bone.
It was all but gone yesterday. She sure got her mommy's money's worth.
She did some digging for field mice out in the pasture one morning.
It's one of her very favorite activities
from which she gets satisfaction, whether she catches a mouse or not.
We'll close with a smile. Shadow thanks you for visiting her on Mondays!

(1,440 posts)Great photos and comments, George McGovern. I like all the pictures, especially the sleeping dogs with KC on the chair with Mommy (such domestic bliss!) and the last close-up of Shadow smiling. That one belongs in a frame!
Great way to start a Monday!
