My son 20 and his friend. Took Dunc the golden retriever chonk evening trout fishing.

Plan was they were gonna use mealworms and they did catch a few trout on rooster tails. Although they never got to use the mealworms.
Reason why Dunc opened up the container as he laid in backseat on the way to the stream and ate the mealworms.

Shoulda waited, and he'd had bluegill (and or trout) to eat on the way home. You gotta have a talk with that dog. marble falls Aug 30 #1
They won't eat raw celery. Everything else is 'get out of the way' food. twodogsbarking Aug 30 #2

Is it wrong that that story made me laugh?

Dunc is quite the scamp. I wouldn't imagine that mealworms would be all that tasty, but maybe Dunc knows something I don't.

She and I volunteered together at the local hospital and she needed a ride home. My friend always made treats for the volunteers to share. She needed help getting everything inside and I carried the treats. As we got inside, I started to set her treats on the kitchen table. My friend quickly took them away from me and put them on top of her very large refrigerator--no small feat for her--she was very short, less than 5 feet tall. I looked puzzled and she said, "No food gets put on the table or the counter. If it can't go in a cabinet or the fridge, it goes on top of the fridge. Mac and Molly will eat anything they can reach--and I'm tired of vet visits for tummy troubles!"
Hope Duncan Pup was okay after his meal worms treat! Give him a pat for me.

...they had a story about the strangest things that the bets had removed from dogs' stomachs.

The one that had me laughing the hardest was a pair of women's panties that were neither the style nor brand favored by the wife/dog mom. Seems someone had left something behind while "visiting" the hubby.

If you are going to screw around on your wife, probably not too wise to do it at home.
