Any idea what is happening to this Cherry Bomb pepper?

Others from the same nursery are doing fine in a different location.
I even picked a pepper from one of the others today.
Could it be too much fertilizer?

I would take off the damaged leaves (not gonna heal), cut way back on water and keep her warm.

On edit- if u reuse soil you could have a salt buildup. The clay pot could also have a salt buildup if it wasn’t cleaned well.

The soil in that pot is at least three years old. And the pot hasn't been cleaned in many years.

I'll replant it in a clean pot with fresh soil.

May be

Cool/cold draft...
Low light level...
Overwatering... Let it dry out a bit
Root bound w/ repotting stress...
Pull the pepper out of the pot + make sure it's not drowning...
Free up / untangle the roots before repotting...

I do like your suggestions:

Overwatering... Let it dry out a bit
Root bound w/ repotting stress...
Pull the pepper out of the pot + make sure it's not drowning...
Free up / untangle the roots before repotting...
