decaf tea

There is only one store I shop at that has the Buddig packages. It stopped in last week and the price on the packs have gone from .99 each, to a $1.29 each. I got 2 packs, but it'll be awhile before I get more. Can I afford it? Yes. Do I want to afford it? No.

Oh well, it was a nice treat.

I recall watching/teaching me how to make a roux-whitesauce- for it. THAT was a useful cooking skill.

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup milk, or more as needed
Stir,stir,stir

Our home ec. teacher taught us this method: I Tbs butter, 1 Tbs flour, 1 cup of milk for thin, 2-2-1 for medium, 3-3-1 for thick.

I like it medium. I love creamed potatoes, too. It is a handy and versatile recipe

Lavash bread slathered with tamarind chutney piled with leftover microwaved curried lentils, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onion, shredded carrots and thin slices of cucumber with a nondairy plain yogurt drizzle before rolling up tightly. Cheers!🥂
