Breakfast Tuesday 14 April 2026

Later this morning I'm planning on making scrambled egg with spinach, mushrooms and a few cherry tomatoes with a pot of hot tea to drink.

Tuesday

Beetroot and carrots (80 g), Black-eyed peas (70 g).

I scarfed down one of each of these in a vague, undirected, general protest and now wish I hadn’t :

I am reconsidering these fairly pointless forms of protest whose main characteristic seems to be that they can in no way be construed by jerks as “virtue signaling”, while still being a middlefinger to nosy scolds.

Otoh I feel greasy and awful.

Enjoy your breakfast iris 🥳

4. I have mint!

I found it growing yesterday at one of my school gardens. I washed it last night to have with my cantaloupe. It is also very good with a ripe pear.

I’m glad I caught the mint at this stage. As you know, mint is very aggressive. It has to be constantly pulled or it will take over.

Cream cheese on toasted rye-pumpernickel bread.
