What's for Dinner, Fri., April 3, 2026

Caramelized cabbage slices with spicy ground "sausage." Beyond.

I'm changing up my soup, too. A couple new additions are grated Frommagio Granino* and chopped parsley. Garbanzos. Toasted whole wheat English muffins to go alongside it, since I knocked off the cornbread.

Cherry kombucha.

Dessert: Sauteed pears with grated nutmeg and a little vanilla ice cream over a toasted waffle. Decaf coffee.

*hard Italian cheese, can be grated.

Soft WW tortiillas with refritos, Gardein chicken strips (spiced up with jalapeño and smoky bourbon BBQ sauces), sliced, pickled jalapeños, and some vegan cheese shreds.

Went out to our second favorite Thai Restaurant and I ordered a dish called Spicy Takrai which is a stir-fry of red and green peppers, Asian eggplant, onions in a delicious lemongrass sauce. My wife ordered a red curry. Cheers!🥂
