Junk food for a sports-filled weekend

For last night’s World Series game, we had a supreme pizza with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, black olives and extra cheese with Stella Artois beers and ice cream sandwiches.

For this morning’s NYC Marathon, we made eggs Benedict with Bloody Marys for the race’s finish.

We’re going to watch football today. First, the Panthers at Green Bay (I’m a cheesehead!) and we have Wisconsin cheddar and summer sausage as teasers. Then we’ll watch the Chiefs & Bills. We’re going to make spicy Buffalo wings with celery and blue cheese for that game.

The healthy diets resume tomorrow!

He is avoiding my calls, watching all his games, etc. Told me he stayed up until 2:30 watching baseball the other night. Being from Nebraska, he has to watch the Cornhuskers.

Anyway, this sounds like fun, PJ.
