With sweet corn, zucchini, cukes, an avocado, celery, spinach, dill, basil, buttermilk, olive oil, yogurt, salt and pepper.
Having that with a kale Caesar salad (bought) and some cold leftover grilled swordfish. Maybe a little caprese salad too, while I have the nice I basil.

Good evening, All!

Grilled pork ribs, (Mr. Bayard cooking those outside,) From our garden: black-eyed peas (dried ones are no comparison to fresh), cooked with okra, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and a little bacon. Sliced cukes. Corn on the cob. Cantaloupe (picked 7 yesterday.)

The kind of food I grew up on, since both my parents were from South Carolina.

There's only so much room in the fridge. These are the best melons ever though. I've grown them the past several years--"Sweet Passion," from Baker Seed. I should have a bunch of watermelons coming in in the next week or so too.

Went out with friends to our favorite Chinese Restaurant. Steamed veggie dumplings to start. I had tofu with broccoli and garlic sauce and my wife ordered vegetable moo shu. We shared our dishes. Cheers! 🥂
