(38,162 posts)1. I think local peaches here (NE OH) are starting to peter out early.
Its been so hot and dry here. Peaches at the farm market yesterday were 4 for $6 or $2 each for the large ones. I like to buy from a particular vendor because its a woman-owned business.

I haven't found a good place for them in Munich. They do work okay in baking.
