Breakfast Saturday 9 August 2025

I'm planning on a big ol plate of leftovers for breakfast later today. Maybe a real coffee .
The tariffs against Brazil, the largest coffee exporter, are pretty steep

https://www.wfsb.com/2025/08/07/new-coffee-tariffs-could-brew-higher-prices-us-consumers/

snip-"Coffee drinkers in the U.S. could soon be paying significantly more for their morning brew, as new tariffs on coffee imports take effect.

A 50 percent tariff was recently imposed on Brazilian coffee, one of the most widely consumed sources of coffee in the United States.

Colombia, another major exporter, is also affected by the new trade measures."

snip-"Aside from small-scale farming in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, coffee is largely imported.

A bit more at the article.

Imagining a 50% increase in coffee prices will I suspect hurt American office efficiency..

A lot of people are going to be cussing Trump's tariffs and prices. Hard times ahead.

Good thing is, my arm and shoulder isn't as sore as it has been. Too hot outside for weed whacking anyways.

Good Morning 🌞

Toasted Colby Jack cheese on whole wheat with Gala apple slices.

Hope you feel better Emile.

Tariffs are going to add more economic pain on our country.

Good Morning🤗

Rather cool this morning, upper fifties I think. The pup decided to sleep in so it was just me and the sunrise..

Not feeling particularly hungry yet, but there are some local peaches that need eating soon, so perhaps some with plain yogurt later on.
