Butter lettuce, mandarin, and walnut salad.
Has dressing made with gorgonzola.
Headed to work shortly, but after work I will have couscous with chopped vegetables and chicken. The chicken is a roaster, already done, so everything will be very easy.

(36,914 posts)I was out weed whacking on Wednesday and messed up my right arm and shoulder. So yesterday and today, I just been taking it easy and rubbing icy hot on my sore arm. Sucks getting old.
Cher, have you tried out your new weed whacker? I took a bite of the Christmas Melon earlier, and oh boy it's delicious 😋.
Good Evening
Sorry about your sore arm. Icy hot and rest is just the ticket.
I wrote a bit about the weedwacker on this morning's breakfast thread.
Now I am out of string so I have to learn to re-load it; the cool thing about this weedwacker is that if you just cut off a long piece and run it through two openings, click a button, and the weedwacker rewinds the string inside. This is hopefully a good innovation because the number one problem with these machines is that the string is not wound evenly when you put in a new spool. This causes the string to jam and then you have to sit there in the hot sun and reload it to make sure the string is all even. Really bad engineering idea, especially if you just happened to notice a leaf of poison ivy that your machine just cut.
You're so lucky the Christmas melon turned out good! I saw them at the store and they wanted $6, so I said I'm waiting until the price goes down.

(36,914 posts)have gotten pretty good at putting string on my weed whackers, but sometimes I have to fight getting the head off. After putting new string on, if I screw the head back on too tight it's a pain getting the head back off. I would go with something like you got, but I have way too much weed whacking for a battery one. I do love my battery powered push mower for mowing around the pond.
