Waldorf salad. It has a mix of romaine and red tip lettuce, grapes, celery, apple.
The dressing has apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon, Greek yogurt, olive oil.
Miso and sesame crust tuna steak. Wasabi and radish microgreens I grew over the top:
Kombucha, plain.
Dessert: Morello cherries over toasted waffle with Greek yogurt.

Hope your roofers were able to work today, Emile. We are getting several inches of rain over the next few days. My garden is seriously behind because of it.

I ordered about 15 different kinds a few years ago and it has lasted me for years--and they're still viable!

along with jasmine or sushi rice, steamed broccoli, and a green salad.
The butter chicken recipe is via www savorytooth dot com. Really yummy and simple, have made it a dozen or so times.

(800 posts)It also has shaved garlic, pasta water and I'm going to add some green peas.
Alliterative, but delicious. Also cheap. Green salad on the side.

(1,407 posts)Air-fried Aldis teriyaki salmon burgers served on sprouted multi grain bread with sesame-garlic sauce and sliced red onion. Also steam-fried in evoo and veggie broth: brussel sprouts, chopped onion, minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. When done I added cooked brown rice and stirred in the same sesame-garlic sauce that I put on the salmon burgers. Cheers!🥂

(23,767 posts)It's from a place called Don Lee in Coronado, Panama. We placed our order of wonton soup, egg rolls, lo mein and vegetable fried rice at the counter. The clerk directed us to a specific table. Five minutes later, a robot playing badly imitated Asian music rolled over with our order. For me, that was a first!
The food was pretty good and we gave it a B+. Too much food so we'll have snacks for later.
When I was a kid growing up outside Chicago, my dad would take me to a diner where we would sit at the counter. When our order was ready, the plates arrived on the flat cars of a Lionel train set! The tracks came out of the kitchen then down the counter before returning to the kitchen. I guess the robot is the 21st century version!

The robot story also has me laughing.
I wonder if Ira Glass has ever done an episode on such inventiveness?
One for the books, as they say.
